Delicious Homemade Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. Better than Store-bought and made with Real-Food ingredients. Perfect for Bang Bang Shrimp Sauce!Delicious Homemade Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. Better than Store-bought and made with Real-Food ingredients. Perfect for Bang Bang Shrimp Sauce!

I love Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, but hate all the junky ingredients in the bottled stuff you buy ? So I made up my own recipe made with only the best, all-natural ingredients!

When I stopped to buy some more mineral water at the grocery store today, I noticed they had large Wild Caught Shrimp on sale for $4.99 a pound! What a great deal, right?!?

Even though I’m fasting, Ray isn’t. And knowing how much he LOVES my Gluten-Free Bang Bang Shrimp, I grabbed the last 2 pounds of shrimp they had.

And it’s probably a surprise that although I do cook most of the meals at our house, Ray really enjoys cooking and is pretty good at it too. I didn’t think twice, I knew he was more than capable of making his own dinner… with a little help from me, of course.

While Ray was cleaning his shrimp, I made up a batch of my Thai Sweet Chili Sauce (yes I’m still cooking while fasting, it’s really not that bad). When I first attempted to make Gluten-Free Bang Bang Shrimp at home and went to buy a bottle of Thai Sweet Chili Sauce for the sauce, I was shocked at all the nasty ingredients. And that there was not any suitable, more natural option available.

So, I made up my own recipe. Duh.

It’s a simple as mixing up a few real-food pantry staples and simmering them until thick.

BOOM>Homemade Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, you’re welcome.
