I’m not afraid to say it.. this is the BEST Paleo-Keto Ranch Dressing.. EVER. If you aren’t familiar with the term ‘paleo-keto’ it’s a high-fat, low-carb food that’s 100% dairy free. This recipe is also vegetarian friendly!

I love ranch dressing, it’s a staple in our refrigerator but since I’m back to thinking that diary is a problem for me (causing mucous, bloating and digest upset after reintroducing foods following my water fast) — I realized that creating a delicious Paleo-Keto Ranch Dressing was absolutely essential.

See here’s the thing though, I’m not willing to eat just any ranch. I’m super picky. And I’ve been making my own, Homemade Ranch Dressing & Dip Mix for, like, well, ever. Because no bottled ranch is as delicious, let alone they are totes filled with toxic, processed garbage and gross fats.

So, I hope you understand that this doesn’t taste like some coconut milk ranch garbage that you’ll have to gag down, this is the real deal. 100% delicious.

Here’s the best part of this recipe, you don’t HAVE to be diary free to enjoy this recipe, it’s awesome for those times when you are desperate for ranch but don’t have any cultured sour cream at home – but your pantry is stocked with coconut milk or coconut cream!

While I call for coconut cream for this recipe, you can also use the solid, coconut cream that separates on the top of canned coconut milk.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Organic Coconut Cream (canned)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mct oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon Homemade Ranch Dressing & Dip Mix <- get my recipe
  • 1 teaspoon lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (with mother)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour prior to serving, for flavors to combine.
  • Will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

Notes

Do not use refrigerated, processed coconut milk – it must be additive free.
And I’ve added MCT oil to this dressing to (a) thin it out and make it pourable and (b) increase the healthy fat content making it better to fit into a ketogenic diet macros. You can omit the MCT if, desired, just add water to thin as desired.
