I gotta admit, trying to photograph cooked white rice is definitely a challenge to my growing photography skills and I was so hesitant to even post’em because I’m totally not satisfied with how they look BUT I know you all really need to have this recipe – despite my horrible photography slump!

While we don’t eat grains often, however we do enjoy white rice a few times a month and have been having it more often since learning How to Reduce the Calories and Starch in Rice by 50%.

Always Perfect {5-Minute} Pressure Cooker Rice

Servings: 1


  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice rinsed in cold water several times
  • 1 & 1/4 cup Water, filtered
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil (unrefined)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt


  • In your pressure cooker combine all ingredients.
  • Cook under pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Carefully Quick Depressurize.
  • Enjoy!
